In partnership with the Amersfoortse Gidsen the Mondriaanhuis offers the Amersfoort in Style: In Mondrian’s Footsteps.

What did Amersfoort look like in Piet Mondrian’s childhood? How did he live with his family on Kortegracht and where did he go to church? A private guide lets 1872 Amersfoort, Piet Mondrian’s birth year, come alive again. During this walk, you will see how the city developed in Mondrian’s childhood and you will also visit the Mondriaanhuis. The arrangement comprises a welcome with coffee and Mondrian pastry, a private guide, a two-course lunch at Café Hemels (including a glass of wine), a visit to the Mondriaanhuis and, optional, a boat trip through the canals of the city centre.
