Exhibition on the occasion of the publication of Erik de Graaf's graphic novel of the same name. The graphic novelist honours the famous painter with a colourful story about the last eventful years of his life in Paris, London and New York. On view now until 13 April 2025.

In the exhibition 'The World of Piet Mondrian', you will discover all facets of the artist. Such as his iconic work, his spiritual formation, his interests and friends. Fun and educational for young and old.

Exhibition 'Aan het Gein' shows the beauty of the landscape around this small river seen through the eyes of Piet Mondrian, Annemieke Harkema, Anna Khodorovich and Dannis van der Heiden.

From 27 January 2024, the Mondrian House will give ample space to the work of Esther Stocker. Stocker (Italy, 1974) lives and works in Vienna. In her characteristic work in black and white, the artist examines patterns and the effect of disturbances on a rigid order. In doing so, she reflects on the apparent perfection and imperfection of systems.

Alongside Piet Mondrian, Albert Fiks is one of the few modernists Amersfoort has produced. Guest curator Onno Maurer portrays the artistic quest of the painter, who died young.

In 2023, DierenPark Amersfoort will celebrate its 75th anniversary. To mark this festive anniversary, three museums in Amersfoort will join in with an exhibition focusing on animals. The Mondriaanhuis will kick off with the exhibition Birds and Fish - The art of omission.

The Mondrian House in Amersfoort is celebrating the 150th anniversary of Piet Mondrian's birth with the exhibition Onbegrensd. Seven duos of visual artists and composers have created new work for this exhibition. The result of this collaboration can now be seen and heard in the museum.

Bob Negryn approaches the world around him as an interplay of colours and shapes, which he idiosyncratically captures in measured compositions. The Mondrian House is showing a selection of Negryn's fascinating and powerful floral compositions.

The Dutch landscape has inspired artists for centuries. Piet Mondrian too had a keen eye for the nature around him. Although he became best known for his abstract compositions, early in his career he mainly painted landscapes. Some of his early works will be on display at the Mondrian House from 5 June 2021, together with works by contemporary artists, each of whom capture the landscape in their own unique way.

For the exhibition Equilibrium, the Mondrian House asked Elise van der Linden and Henriëtte van 't Hoog to draw inspiration from Mondrian's quest for balance.

This presentation examines the idea of 'Entartete Kunst' introduced by Hitler and Piet Mondrian's flight to America. There, now 68 years old, he managed to renew himself as an artist once more, creating his masterpiece Victory Boogie Woogie.

Under the motto 'look wild and think nimble', Hans Lemmerman and Inge van Run show how the worlds of art and popular culture can reinforce each other. Since 2000, the duo has been portraying women in traditional Spakenburg costume alongside work by various Dutch artists. This produces surprising, alienating and funny images. The long-term project now concludes with an exhibition at the Mondrian House, in which the Spakenburg Divas enter into dialogue with the grand master of abstract art.

The Mondrian House is celebrating its 25th anniversary! To mark this anniversary, 25 members of national artist association De Ploegh have been invited to create a work measuring 25 x 25 centimetres especially for this exhibition.

International exhibition featuring paintings and sculptures by abstract working artists from 15 different countries in the 30 x 30 centimetre format.

Until 15 September 2019, the Mondrian House will show work by Sally Pittman under the title 'Mon : fleur'. Her art objects are on display in two galleries of the museum.

Until Sunday 10 March 2019, the Mondrian House is showing several works by Herman Coppus with 'Reflection'. His paper reliefs and sculptures in glass and bronze are on display in two rooms of the museum.
