* Visitors who hold a valid card but are unable – for whatever reason – to present it on the spot will not be granted entry. Copies or (digital) images of the card will not be accepted.
** If you have a ticket from Waterlijn, Keilijn, Amersfoortse Gidsen and/or Gilde Amersfoort, you’ll receive a 50 % discount on the admission price and pay €7 for entry to the museum. Please note: admission with this discount is not available online. If you have a ticket from one of the partners listed above, you will only receive a 50 % discount at the museum ticket office.
Good to know: Payment can only be made by PIN at the Mondrian House.

Public holidays and school holidays
On 5, 24 and 31 December, the museum is open until 4pm.
Open: Easter Sunday and Boxing Day, Liberation Day, Ascension Day, Whit Monday and Boxing Day.
Closed: Christmas Day, New Year's Day and King's Day.

In 2026, Heritage Day will take place on 12 and 13 September. The Mondriaanhuis is open to everyone free of charge on Saturday 12 September. Please note: the standard admission fee applies on Sunday 13 September.
Museum card
The Museumkaart is available at the Mondrian House box office. A Museumkaart gives you unlimited access to 400 museums for a year. The purchase price is €75 for adults. The price for under-18s is €39. You can also use the Museumkaart ordering online.
Guided tours
The Mondrian House offers interactive and varied guided tours. Participants actively take part: looking at works of art, discussing them and asking questions. In this way, they enter into a dialogue with each other and with art. If desired, the programme can be tailored to the needs of the group.

The Mondriaanhuis offers a fortnightly event on Thursdays (in even-numbered weeks) free introductory tour . An experienced guide will then lead you through the exhibition on Mondrian’s life and work. The introductory tour starts at 2.00 pm and is free with admission to the museum. Booking isn’t necessary, but do arrive on time, as places are limited.
Introduction to Mondrian
For groups, the Mondrian House offers the possibility of a short introduction to the life and work of Piet Mondrian. After this mini-lecture by a museum staff member, you will visit the museum's exhibition on your own. More information and booking.
