Wanted: supervisor (on weekends)
Do you love art and are you audience-friendly and welcoming? Then we might have a great place for you!
The Mondrian House is looking for volunteers who have an eye and ear for details, are representative and have good communication skills.
As a supervisor, you play an active and visible role, you are responsible for ensuring that no one touches, damages, destroys or steals works of art, you assist in making the museum accessible to the disabled and at activities, receptions and events.
De werktijden zijn in principe tijdens openingstijden van het museum, van 10.00 uur tot 17.00 uur. Bij voorkeur zoeken we iemand voor op zaterdag en zondag. Eventueel kan hier ook van worden afgeweken, bijvoorbeeld als er scholen langskomen of andere activiteiten buiten openingstijden plaatsvinden.
You will work at least 6 hours a week, sometimes on weekends.
As a volunteer at the Mondrian House, you will join a team of enthusiastic staff and a large group of other volunteers. You will be trained and supervised by a permanent member of staff. You are entitled to a volunteer's allowance and two or three times a year there are pleasant volunteer meetings.

Internships
The Mondrian House is a dynamic museum with a small team of motivated staff. Results and job satisfaction are paramount. Interns are given plenty of space and opportunities to learn about various activities at the museum in addition to their internship assignment.

Internship for Reinwardt Academy or Art History student (vanaf september 2026)
Assignment: collaborate to develop and shape the concept for the next temporary exhibition. You may observe and work along with all the common tasks involved in creating an exhibition.
Voorwaarde is dat je beschikt over een goede kennis van de Nederlandse taal in woord en geschrift.
