Always wanted to know more about art? Then the 'Introduction to Art History' course at the Mondrian House is for you! The course starts on Monday 29 October and consists of eight lessons.
Mondrian House will offer an Introduction to Art History course on eight Monday afternoons from 29 October in collaboration with KLU Art History Courses. The lecture series will be taught by art historian Muriel de Beer and will range from classical antiquity to modern art. At the end of this course, you will have learned about the main styles and periods, a good basic knowledge of art history and learned why certain works of art are so important.
KLU organises art history courses, lectures, excursions and trips in Utrecht and the surrounding area. Muriel de Beer is a lecturer at KLU. Pleasure in experiencing art, quality of content and clear explanations are top priorities for Muriel. Her interests are broad and range from the Romans to Contemporary art. She likes to talk about all these subjects with enthusiasm!
