Come to the Mondrian House during spring break. And just like Piet Mondrian, go and create your own work of art with a big dose of guts!
N.B: This workshop is now fully booked. There is still space at our (musical) children's workshop on Friday 3 March: Victory Boogie Woogie. Museum Flehite is also organising creative children's workshops: on Thursday 2 March (Portrait making).
In this workshop, children are inspired by the theme 'Guts'. During his career, Piet painted various subjects in a variety of styles, from figurative landscapes, flowers and portraits to the well-known abstract compositions with primary colours. He had guts and dared to 'colour outside the lines'. Do you dare too?
Using different materials (paint, but also tape, paper and sand), children can experiment on a painting canvas. What it becomes they get to decide for themselves. Totally in the spirit of Piet!
