Festive workshop for children during spring break. We will celebrate Piet Mondrian's birthday and paint cake plates.
NOTES. THE WORKSHOP IS FULLY BOOKED. It's party time at the Mondrian House! Because this year it is exactly 150 years since Piet was born here. To celebrate this, we are going to make a happy party this afternoon. And of course a party needs cake and other goodies.
Children will also get to work painting their own cake plate. In festive Mondrian colours. Meanwhile, you will learn something about the famous artist. Who was Piet and how did he conceive his paintings? And why did he often use the colours red, yellow and blue with black lines?
After the workshop, your cake plate may be taken home.
