Looking for a fun children's activity in the autumn holidays? The Mondrian House Amersfoort organises various creative workshops.
First, we take a tour of the exhibition Ode to the landscape. In it, you will see both the landscapes painted by Piet Mondrian in his younger years and work by five contemporary artists. As we will see, there are all kinds of ways to capture the landscape around you. From natural to highly abstract. Moreover, every landscape has a certain atmosphere, whether it is along the water of the river, the silence of the empty polder or the high-rise buildings in the city.
After gaining inspiration, children will start drawing or painting landscapes themselves. Let your imagination run wild, anything goes!
