Looking for a fun children's activity in the autumn holidays? The Mondrian House is organising a creative and musical children's workshop.
Music can put you in a certain mood. It can make you happy or make you a little sad. Painter Piet Mondrian was inspired by different styles of music when he painted. By jazz, for instance, and by the boogiewoogie. His last work of art is even called Victory Boogie Woogie.
During this children's workshop, you will experience painting to music together with the museum teacher. What do you paint when you hear a slow melody? And what if the music is very soft or loud? Various types of music will be played, including, of course, the rhythmic boogiewoogie!
