In the workshop, you will go out led by photographer Bram Petraeus and search for the bigger picture in the city.
In the photography workshop, you will go out with Amersfoort photographer Bram Petraeus. Bram is a former Silver Camera winner and prefers to take to the streets with his camera. There he captures the absurdity and beauty of everyday life.
In the workshop, you will go into Amersfoort with your own camera in search of the bigger picture. A photo is not made by the main subject, but by how it interacts with context. In this workshop, you will be challenged to look beyond the main subject. By leaving out or adding context, you will discover what happens next to and in the background.
If you move further away from the subject, you can discover what happens to the light and the surroundings. This is how you give context to the image and allow new, surprising images to emerge.
