Under the title 'From Bosch to Bruegel', the Free Academy is organising an art history course at the Mondrian House from Monday 21 September. Ten lessons will cover painting from the Netherlands in the 16th century.
Between the Flemish Primitives and the Dutch masters of the Golden Age lies an art-historical century that is easily overlooked. Reason for the Free Academy to take a closer look at this very century.
In ten lectures, art historian Marieke van Wamel reviews all the important artists of this period.
