Hannah Meijer
For Hannah Meijer (b. 1994), exploring boundaries is a recurring theme. She believes it is important to always wonder why a certain rule is there and whether it could perhaps be reconsidered. With the installations Press(ure) I and II, the artist explores themes of limitation and oppression. The combination of different materials, hard versus soft, is essential here.
Boukje Kemper
Boukje Kemper (b. 1998) 'paints' with textiles. She is guided by memories from her childhood and by the materials and techniques she works with. Kemper is open to the coincidences that present themselves during the creative process and dares to let go of the original image she had in her head.
