About Noëmi Schermann
The Amersfoort-born Noëmi Schermann was instilled with a love of music. Her mother is a viola player and Noëmi's father is originally a violinist and conductor. She herself chose the piano, but that soon expanded to include composing, singing and also teaching and conducting. She obtained her bachelor's degree in piano at the Utrecht Conservatoire in June 2021, after which she started studying choral conducting at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Works by Noëmi have been successfully performed at home and abroad. In 2020, she received second prize in her category for the Princess Christina Composition Competition.
Special for exhibition Unlimited wrote Noëmi, in collaboration with artist Fadenka van der Sloot, the composition Seas of (im)possibilities.
