Would you like to know more about Tian Teng's work? Then come to the Mondrian House on Saturday 23 April to meet the artist.
For the Lef! exhibition, the museum, in cooperation with the Utrecht School of Arts, selected five young and promising artists: Hannah Meijer, Boukje Kemper, Marloes Roeper, Monika Nowak (Poland) and Tian Teng (China).
Retrieved from Saturday 23 April it is possible to meet Tian Teng. The artist will be on hand from 2.30pm at the museum to explain her work and answer questions.
Tian Teng
Chinese-born Tian Teng (Shanghai, 1996) has captured intriguing images of daily life in cities on large-format canvas. As an 'outsider' in the Netherlands, she has a fresh perspective on the ordinary and reveals extraordinary details of triviality. In doing so, she subtly plays with the concepts inside/outside, dark/light and with reality and reflection.
