New children's lectures: How to become a landscape artist?

MuseumJeugdUniversiteit organises a lecture series at the Mondrian House and Museum Flehite. With the theme: How to become a landscape artist?

Know more than your master or teacher! The MuseumJeugdUniversiteit (MJU) organises children's lectures with more than 50 museums in the Netherlands. Scientists, researchers and experts answer exciting questions about the museum collection. Where are the ears of a grasshopper? Can peanut butter be art? Is African football magical? You name it, there is a lecture about it at MJU. Just like at the real university, lectures start in spring and autumn. Enrol now and get your MJU degree!

Museum Youth University at the Mondrian House and Museum Flehite

2021 is the year of the landscape. In Amersfoort, Museum Flehite and the Mondriaanhuis both have an exhibition of old and new landscape art this spring. You will work with two artists from the exhibitions and a landscape philosopher on the theme of landscape. You will look at the art in the museum with them and learn all kinds of things about the landscape, past and present. You will also go outside and make your own landscape art! For children aged 8 to 12.

Of course, the lectures are given according to the current covid 19 guidelines of RIVM.
