During the autumn holidays, the Mondrian House is organising various activities for young and old. The museum will also be open extra during this period on Monday 12 and Monday 19 October 2020.

You can also go on a fun treasure hunt or get creative in the DIY workshop. Museum TV has included the Mondrian House in the top 3 most fun outings for families with children.

Workshops

The Mondrian House organises various creative children's workshops. Suitable for children from 6 years onwards. All workshops start at 2pm. On 14 October Painting porcelain, on Monday 19 October The art of omission - Painting windmills, on Wednesday 21 October Victory Boogie Woogie and on Friday 23 October Painting porcelain.

Scavenger hunt

The artist Piet Mondrian is most famous for his paintings with black lines and red, yellow and blue areas. Want to find out more about him? Via QR codes on your phone, you can discover a different piece of Mondrian's life and work each time.

DIY workshop

After visiting our Mondrian exhibition, do you feel like creating a work of art too? You can do that every day in our DIY workshop. We have thought up some fun assignments you can do, but of course you can also think up something yourself. Or have fun on the Lego wall.
