From 2 to 5 April - during the Easter weekend - the cultural institutions in Amersfoort, including the Mondrian House, offer a great online programme. Although our doors will remain closed for a while, we want to put Amersfoort in the light.
As a kick-off, on 2 and 3 April, the horizon above the city will be illuminated with a beautiful light show. From 20:15 to 23:00, look out your window, from your balcony or from your garden towards the Tower of Our Lady and see the dots appearing on the horizon. These are the places where culture is made and the lights are still on.
Does the sky colour Mondrian?
The last half-hour of the show is still a surprise as to what we will see, as the choice is then up to the viewer. One of the options is Mondrian Style. So who knows, we might soon see the skies lit up in Pete's characteristic primary colours.
