Due to the construction of exhibition Aan het Gein and maintenance on the New York room, the Mondrian House will be open to the public on a limited basis (free admission) from 11 to 14 June.
A new exhibition is being built at the Mondrian House this week: On the Gein. In it we see the beauty of the landscape around this small river just outside Amsterdam seen through the eyes of Piet Mondrian, Annemieke Harkema, Anna Khodorovich and Dannis van der Heiden.
During the construction days, access to the museum will be temporarily a bit more limited. Rooms 2, 6 , 7 and 8 (New York cinema) will be closed then. Visitors can go to the fixed presentation about the life and work of Piet Mondrian. And also get to work in the DIY studio.
From 11 to 14 June, entrance to the Mondrian House is free for all visitors.
Please note: on Friday 14 June, the Mondrian House will close its doors at 3pm due to the opening reception of the new exhibition.
