The Mondrian House's video installations and presentation have been awarded a Gold award at the German Design Awards 2019.
These prestigious international architecture and design awards are presented annually by the German Design Council. Utrecht-based agency Tinker Imagineers came up with the multimedia concept of the Mondrian House, which was now judged by the expert jury: "The successful mix of digital and analogue elements is overwhelming but certainly not ill-considered. It is also informative, without overwhelming the visitor. All this in an attractive setting that comes across as pleasant and relaxing".
Since its reopening in early 2017, the Mondrian House has already received many positive reactions to this innovative approach. The German Design Awards now place the museum among the finalists of a (inter)national award for the tenth time.
