Artist talk on Sunday afternoon

Find out more about the artists taking part in exhibition 25 x 25 x 25 at the artist talk on Sunday afternoon 6 October 2019 in the Mondrian House's DIY studio.

On Sunday afternoon 6 October, Frits Nolte - himself a visual artist - will talk to three participants in the exhibition 25 x 25 x 25. Artists Janine Eshuis, Anja Radakovic and Jimi Kleinbruinink are interviewed about their work in general and about the specific work they made for the exhibition at the Mondrian House.

In the artist talk, artists talk about material, technique and what moves them. The central question is: how do they translate their ideas into art? Visitors will be asked: what touches you in the work? What makes you wonder?
Radakovic and Kleinbruinink were young talents at Galerie de Ploegh's Forever Young exhibition at Sint Joriskerk in Amersfoort in 2017. Jimi Kleinbruinink said then, "The interplay of thought-out roadmaps and approved coincidences provide a creative foundation from which I create images.
Eshuis is a member of De Ploegh and says of her work: 'The simplicity and beauty of the landscape give tranquillity. A tension is created between the abstract and the visual.'
