  • In search of the future is a viewing and doing exhibition for the whole family. The exhibition is based on the picture book Keepvogel and Kijkvogel in het spoor van Mondriaan by Wouter van Reek.

'If you wait and see, everything just gets older,' says Watching Bird. 'Instead, I look for the new.'
Watchbird is looking into the future, looking for things that do not yet exist. Keepvogel goes with him.

In search of the future is a family exhibition that gets young and old thinking about curiosity, innovation and imagination.
The exhibition with hands-on tasks for children is based on the picture book Keep Bird and Watch Bird - in the footsteps of Mondrian By Wouter van Reek. In Watching Bird, you will recognise Piet Mondrian, the artist who continued to innovate throughout his life.
Besides a colourful presentation of drawings from the book, the exhibition uses sketches and storyboards to give a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the Kijkvogel character and Wouter van Reek's working methods.

Scavenger hunt

Especially for this exhibition, there will be creative workshops and a fun scavenger hunt for children. Look for the dog Tungsten and travel to the future together with Keepvogel and Kijkvogel.
