The Mondrian House is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year! Therefore, the museum is organising special activities and attractive anniversary promotions from 25 September to 31 October 2019.
City walks about Mondrian
On Wednesday 25 September at 2pm and on Sunday 6 October at 11.30am, the Amersfoort City Guides will offer a city walk about Mondrian to. A special children's walk will be organised on Sunday 20 October 2019 at 2pm. Reservations for the Mondrian walks are required and can be made via www.amersfoortsegidsen.nl
Artist talk
On Sunday 6 October, the Mondrian House will host a artist talk venue. Frits Nolte - himself a visual artist - will talk to three participants in the exhibition 25 x 25 x 25. Artists Janine Eshuis, Anja Radakovic and Jimi Kleinbruinink will be interviewed about their work and their relationship to Mondriaan. The audience is of course also welcome to ask questions. The artist talk is free with museum admission and will take place from 15. 00 to 16. 00 in the DIY studio.
Guest tour
Due to the anniversary, the Mondrian House has Charlotte Rixten, director of fellow institution Villa Mondriaan in Winterswijk invited to give a guest tour. This special tour will take place on Friday 11 October at 13.30. More info and registration.
Children lead children around
Children from weekend school Petje Af are taking a quick course in guiding. After this training, on Sunday 27 October from 2 p.m., these children themselves will children's tours provide at the Mondrian House.

Workshop for adults
Retrieved from Friday 11 October From 10.30am to 12.30pm, the workshop 25 x 25 place. In this painting workshop for adults, participants, like the artists of exhibition 25 x 25 x 25, will create a 25 x 25 cm piece of work inspired by Mondrian. Cost: 24,- (including materials and 6 art cards).

From Monday 21 to Friday 25 October (the autumn holidays in the central region), the Mondrian House will host a creative children's workshop daily from 2pm to 3.30pm in the DIY studio.

Making Mondriaantas
During the Mondrian House's anniversary weeks, a linen Mondrian bag is available at the museum for €2, which anyone may decorate in Mondrian style. Ask at the reception desk or in the DIY workshop.
Free admission for all twenty-five-year-olds
From 25 September to 31 October 2019, the Mondrian House will be free access For anyone aged twenty-five. Entry on presentation of ID.
